Teeth floating is a part of owning a horse. There are many vets and dentists that have gone a more natural way to help ease the trauma of this procedure. Some will get on their knees to work and use only manual tools.
While that is all very helpful, there is still trauma to the equine and just the need to hold the mouth open can cause stress. The TMJ area can get very sore during this time so be sure to use your AAH Light and help your equine’s muscles around the joint stay soft. This will help tremendously during the floating and will allow the jaw to stay open easier.
