Section 1: AAH LIGHT HANDHELD TORCHES
What sets the AAH Light apart from others?
The AAH Light is a durable, handheld photonic therapy device designed for both home users and professionals. It offers:
- Three power settings in one light — low (for acupoints and starting, medium for a little faster penetration and high for muscle release)
- Interchangeable light heads so you can switch colors without buying multiple devices
- A rechargeable 18650 battery system for long-lasting power and low operating cost
- Scientific wavelengths (red 660 nm, blue 410 nm, green 535 nm) chosen for cellular response
- Rugged, water-resistant construction designed for real-world use on people and animals
This multi-purpose design saves you money, space, and time while delivering reliable light therapy.
Is Red Light therapy safe?
Yes. Red LED light at 660 nm is safe, non-invasive, and non-thermal. The AAH Light has no known side effects when used as directed. It should not be shined directly into the eyes, especially on higher power settings.
Which power setting should I use?
- Low: Ideal for acupoints and sensitive areas
- Med: General use for moderate tissue depth
- High: Deeper tissue applications, larger muscles, thicker tissue
Higher settings are not recommended near the eyes.
How often should I use it?
- Acute conditions: 1–2× daily for several days
- Chronic conditions: Every other day for several weeks
- Wellness: 2–3× weekly acupoint stimulation
- Surgery: Excellent for pre- and post-operative support
What does it feel like?
Most users feel nothing from the light itself, but may notice warmth, tingling, or relaxation as the body responds.
Do I need to be exact on the point?
No. LED light covers a wide surface area, so “close is good enough.” The acupoints themselves are wide zones.
How long do I hold the light on each spot?
- Low: 10–15 seconds
- High: 5–10 seconds
- If using low setting to reach deeper: 20–30 seconds
Always treat both sides of the body.
Do I apply pressure?
No. Hold the light gently against the skin (or fur). No pressure is needed.
Should I apply oils or ointments first?
Apply them after light therapy for best results.
Does this work on everyone or every animal?
Almost everyone benefits, but reduced response may occur with:
- Cortisone or steroid use
- Certain medications
- Pregnancy
- Epilepsy
- Diabetes/pancreatitis (always monitor blood sugar with a doctor)
Best to not shine light directly on a known malignancy.
Are there contraindications?
Light therapy is widely considered safe. Contraindications include:
- Pregnancy (certain acupoints)
- Active cancer sites
- Active bleeding
- Epilepsy and seizure disorders (use caution)
What’s the difference between laser and LED?
- Laser = coherent light (concentrated beam, requires training, can burn)
- LED = non-coherent light (safe, diffused, non-thermal)
LEDs allow the body to self-regulate the light absorption and are safe for home use.
Is the AAH Light pulsed or continuous?
The AAH Light is continuous, meaning 100% of the light output reaches the tissue throughout the session.
What does the FDA say about LED therapy?
LEDs are not classified as lasers and are considered safe, non-hazardous devices. Many LED-based tools have received clearance for phototherapy use.
How deep does the light penetrate?
Red light typically penetrates 8–10 mm into the body. The power setting determines how fast that depth is reached.
Do I need to follow a specific order when applying the light?
No, but working head-to-toe or in a routine pattern helps maintain consistency.
Can I combine the AAH Light with other modalities?
Yes! It works beautifully with:
- Bodywork
- Essential oils
- Chiropractic care
- Acupuncture
- Veterinary treatments
- Western medicine
Use the light first, then apply other therapies.
What is the correct use of two lights?
You may:
- Hold two lights side by side to cover a larger area
- Treat two separate spots at once
- “Bridge” two acupoints using low settings
Section 2: PBM LIGHT/TORCH
What is the PBM Light?
The PBM Light is a powerful, handheld photobiomodulation device designed for deeper tissue penetration and broad-area therapeutic coverage. It features three healing settings that allow users to customize treatment based on tissue depth and condition:
- Red Light – Surface-level healing, skin, acupoints, inflammation
- Red + Near Infrared (NIR) – Deeper penetration for muscles, joints, tendons
- Red + NIR Pulsed at 40 Hz – Neurological, mitochondrial, and long-term healing support
These settings use clinically recognized red and infrared wavelengths to support:
- Pain reduction
- Tissue repair & regeneration
- Increased circulation
- Inflammation management
- Performance recovery
PBM (Photobiomodulation) refers to light therapy that influences cellular function, energy production, and healing pathways.
How is the PBM Light different from the AAH Handheld Light?
The PBM Light is designed for deep, broad treatment, offering:
- Stronger photonic output
- Larger treatment coverage
- Optimized LED arrays for even light distribution
- Three healing settings: red, red/NIR, and red/NIR pulsed at 40 Hz
- Red and infrared wavelengths for multi-layer support
- Exceptional effectiveness for musculoskeletal conditions
Your AAH Handheld is ideal for acupoints and targeted precision work, while the PBM Light is best for large muscles, joints, and deeper tissue treatment.
Is the PBM Light safe?
Yes. PBM therapy is one of the safest healing modalities available. It is non-thermal, non-invasive, and drug-free, with no known side effects when used properly.
Which wavelength or mode should I use?
- Red (Visible): Skin, surface tissue, inflammation, acupoints
- Infrared (NIR): Deep muscle, joints, ligaments, old injuries
- 40 Hz Pulsed Mode: Neurological support, chronic issues, mitochondrial repair, long-term regulation
How long should I use the PBM Light?
Use 1–3 minutes per area, adjusted based on:
- Tissue depth
- Severity of the issue
- Mode used (pulsing may require slightly longer sessions)
Can I use the PBM Light every day?
Yes. PBM therapy is safe for daily use and typically recommended 3–7× per week, depending on goals and chronicity.
Does the PBM Light help with chronic conditions?
Absolutely. PBM supports:
- Long-term tissue repair
- Mitochondrial function
- Circulation and oxygenation
- Reduction of chronic inflammation
- Neurological support (especially in 40 Hz mode)
Can the PBM Light be combined with Flex Pads or the AAH Handheld?
Yes — combination therapy increases effectiveness. A common recommended sequence is:
- Flex Pad for broad-area warmup and relaxation
- PBM Light for deep tissue penetration
- AAH Handheld for targeted acupoints and precision work
Section 3: AAH LIGHT FLEX PADS
What are the AAH Flex Pads?
Flex Pads are soft, flexible LED therapy pads offering multiple colors, color mixing, Nogier frequencies, and pre-programmed patterns. They deliver hands-free, comfortable, full-surface treatment.
What do the Flex Pad colors do?
- Red (660 nm): Tissue repair, inflammation, circulation
- Infrared (810-850 nm): Deep tissue, joints, pain, older injuries
- Blue: Bacteria reduction, calming the nervous system
- Green: Inflammation, swelling, emotional balance
- Turquoise: Soothing, relaxing
- Yellow: Skin, lymphatic system, relaxing muscles
- Cyan/Magenta/White: Color mixing options for custom support
How should I store my Flex Pads?
For best longevity, store your Flex Pad flat whenever possible. While it arrives folded in the box for shipping, repeated folding during storage can place stress on the internal wiring over time. You may loosely roll the pad if needed, but avoid creating sharp folds or creases. Store in a clean, dry location away from excessive heat or moisture.
Should I remove the Controller to Charge the pad?
The User Manual instructs you to remove the controller while charging, but we have discovered this is no longer necessary. We recommend leaving the controller attached, as repeated removal increases the risk of damaging the pad’s internal wires.
When should I use pulsing vs. steady light?
- Steady light: Tissue repair
- Pulsing: Older stuck issues, scar tissue, Nervous system support
How long should I use the Flex Pad?
10–20 minutes is typical, though chronic conditions may benefit from 20–30 minutes.
Are Flex Pads safe for animals and people?
Yes. They operate at non-heating, therapeutic levels and are safe for:
- Humans
- Dogs
- Cats
- Horses
- Seniors
- Sensitive individuals
Can I use Flex Pads with other treatments?
Yes. They pair well with massage, chiropractic, acupuncture, essential oils, PEMF, and more.
